Patchwork Pillowcase
I purchased pillowcases and dressed them up. You can do it either way, make or purchase.
Using a purchased set of Standard pillowcases.
Measure your pillowcase and cut squares to fit.
Mine is 40" around on each case.
Cut 40 - 2 1/2" x 2 1/2" square
Sew into 2 rows of 20 each - Sew the ends of each row together to form a circle
From the open edge back open the sewn seam up.
And stitch is back with the seam allowance on the good side.
Measure from the case edge 3 1/4" pin, pieced row down. Good fabric to good fabric
Use 1/4" inch seam allowance
Turn pieced work up and press.
Fold down the edge of the pillow case,
And Top Stitch.
