Letting it go !
I have things of my Mom's, when she moved into Assisted Living, it was just easier to take them. And, after she moved back to her own place ( a whole story) she didn't want them back ? ?
This was her graduation gift from her Mom, my Grandma C.
The warranty needed to be in by Feb 1947, she graduated June 1946,
from Des Moines East High School.

I have the same cedar chest, it was my mother-in-laws. I am keeping it, my daughter wants it someday. I look at it and remember her, she shared the quilting, sewing, crafting bug.
