Quilts a Traveling
We have been traveling over the past couple of weeks and I have lots of quilts to share. I "ALWAYS" ask before taking pictures, to date I've not had anyone say, "NO" and most say thanks for asking.
These 2 quilts are from a Shop in Chillicothe, MO
Notice the red's and how it's the color that has stayed the best over the years
This is a simple 16 block square, each square was cut 2" x 2"
for a finished block of 6" x 6", quilting had been recently done by machine,
blocks were also machine pieced.
Baskets set on point with out squares with lots of quilting

From the Curb Find, to my Dining Room
Driving home a few weeks ago and being garbage day, look what I found on the curb! I've been looking for a table for under our breakfast bar to use as a serving table. I knew the moment I saw it, it would work.
There was/is a huge mark, I think something hot was set on it and a paint spots.
With a bit of finger nail polish remover,
the paint came off.
But, I didn't want to refinished it completely, it had a fold out top table.
So, I decided to pop off the hinges and just turn the table top over
the inside was perfect, not a mark !
Then LOTS of cleaning and re-nailing the metal feet on.
IT'S a WOW
A real WOW

Thank You
We spent a wonderful weekend in Amelia Island
(their site), a few weeks ago, we went out early to see the sunrise and it was perfect.
As this Easter season in upon us, please take a moment and say, "Thank you"

Holiday Block of the Month Quilt
One of my old Block of the Month pattern quilts.
I love Holiday's and this quilt has a block for each month.
These were done for a quilt guild and added to the newsletter each month.
With everything happening the past year I've moved away from the local guild. There are seasons for everything and right now, I have so much on my plate, I don't have much more to give. I miss it. Maybe, some day soon.
