On our visit last year to Minnesota, our bed had the quilt on it that Son #2 took to college. The quilt pattern is here for YOU ! 

It's so soft

Machine pieced and I had it long arm quilted. 

Looking pretty good for 12 years old.

Paisley Quilt

I love paisley fabric and this is my vacation quilt.

I used a very different palette of colors and patterns, it's just fun.
Before the move this is the quilt that I put away here at the condo. Some times, it's nice to cuddle in a quilt no matter what the temperature is outside. 

It's a very simple pattern, a 2 inch center square and then just log cabin around the outside with 1 inch strips.

The finished size is a square 50" x 50" a good size for curling up on the couch. I used a 100% cotton batting and hand quilted.

Not Finished Quilt But USED all the Time

I hate to say, but, I use this quilt and it's not finished... it's been SO long that is SO flat

I even put the binding on it, 

because it fits a table I have and having it on it makes me happy. It measures about 40" x 40" 

It's machine pieced 

and Not hand quilted YET ! 
Some day??? Maybe??

I'm showing the back, it's been washed a number of times, I use a 1/4" seam allowance always, you never know what your quilts will be doing for you.

Cut 2 Black - 2 7/8" x 2 7/8" 

Cut 2 Blue - 2 7/8" x 2 7/8"

Make Triangles

Make into 9-patch 

Cut 4 Red - 2 1/2" x 6 1/2"

Cut 12 White - 2 1/2" x 2 1/2"

Cut 6 White - 2 7/8" x 2 7/8" 

Cut 6 Blue - 2 7/8" x 2 7/8"

Make Triangles

Cut 4 Lt. Blue - 2 1/2" x 2 1/2"

Sew as shown

My Basket Quilt Pattern

Here is the Basket Quilt Pattern HERE as I use it today, it's on my dresser and it still makes me smile to see it. I moved it to the dresser after being on my nightstand and I spilled coffee all over it and was handwashing it at 6:00 am before a flight out for vacation?? Crazy...but the things we do for quilts!

I know that amazon has a program, but it overwhelms me so. As of NOW, only on Kindle and Nook.  I will let you know if something changes. Plus, it would cost so much,  it's huge, over 400 pages.
