Cut 1 Pink - 2 7/8" x 2 7/8"

Cut 1 White -  2 7/8" x 2 7/8" 

Make Triangles

Cut 1 Red - 2 1/2" x 4 1/2"

Cut 1 Pink -  2 7/8" x 2 7/8" 

Cut 1 Dk. Green -  2 7/8" x 2 7/8" 

Make Triangle

Cut 1 Pink -  2 7/8" x 2 7/8" 

Cut 1 Lt. Green -  2 7/8" x 2 7/8" 

Make Triangle

Cut 1 Dk. Green - 2 1/2" x 2 1/2"

Cut 1 Lt.. Green - 2 1/2" x 2 1/2"

Cut 1 Purple -  2 7/8" x 2 7/8" 

Cut 1 Dk. Green -  2 7/8" x 2 7/8" 

Make Triangles

Cut 1 Purple -  2 7/8" x 2 7/8" 

Cut 1 Lt. Green -  2 7/8" x 2 7/8" 

Make Triangles

(You will have extra triangles left)  

If you'd like to from your block, 

Cut 4 Dk. Green - 1 1/2" x 8 1/2"

Cut 4 White - 1 1/2" x 1 1/2"

If you'd like a really fun block, change all the 2's to 1 inch, 
that's how I did it in the  picture.

This is MY Quilt HERE and the quilt block pattern for you to make. I am so happy to have this quilt, it helped start The Quilt Ladies 

Here, I think it's the color and the movement this quilt block has that all like. It's finished size is eighteen inches by eighteen inches, using cut 2 1/2" squares.

This is Husband's quilt, the fold up and add to his sleeping bag quilt.

My State of Ohio Quilt Block Pattern

I have been working on a quilt block of EVERY State. I have them all drawn, jpeg's and maps done, I just can't seem to find time to get them ALL pieced in fabric, but they are wonderful (I do say so myself) and I'm sharing my quilt block pattern I did for the State of Ohio. Why OHIO?   No idea ???
The way my mind is working lately. 
This quilt block has a finished size of fourteen inches by fourteen inches (14" x 14")

  Cut 16 Red – 1 ½” x 1 ½” Cut 16 White - 1 ½” x 1 ½” Make 8 Four Patch Squares  

Cut 16 Blue– 1 ½” x 1 ½”

Cut 16 White - 1 ½” x 1 ½”
Make 8 Four Patch Squares

Fun Star Quilt Pattern to Make

Here is a fun quilt block to make, my Nine Patch Star Triangle. Going a bit smaller today, a five inch by five inch quilt block.   This is a really fun block to piece and the colors can match or use scraps. How to make Triangles Quilt block has a finished size of five by five inches. Change the "1" on cutting instructions to a "2" and you will have a ten by ten inches.

Cut 4 White   1 1/2" X 1 1/2"

Cut 4 White   1 7/8” X 1 7/8”
Cut 4 Blue     1 7/8” X 1 7/8”

Make Triangles

     

    

Sew together to form triangles
Cut 2 Yellow 1 7/8” X 1 7/8”
Cut 2 Green  1 7/8” X 1 7/8”

Make Triangles

      

   Sew together to form triangles   

Assemble to form a square Do 4 of these units, to form one block.

               

Cut 4 Pink     1 1/2" X 1 1/2"

Cut 4 White   1 1/2" X 1 1/2"

Cut 1 Purple 1 1/2" X 1 1/2"

Sew together as shown

Blue is kind of my color right now.
I change all the time but I  think blue and white has a traditional feel, then using modern fabrics a bit of a new look.
This quilt block you will use four-patch blocks and triangles

Cut 4 Blue – 2 7/8” x 2 7/8”
Cut 4 White – 2 7/8” x 2 7/8”
Make Triangles

Cut 1 Blue – 2 ½” x 2 ½”
Cut 1 White – 1 ½” x 2 ½”
Sew to the Top
Cut 1 White – 1 ½” x 3 ½”
Sew to the Right Side
Cut 1 White – 1 ½” x 3 ½”
Sew to the Bottom
Cut 1 White – 1 ½”x 4 ½”
Sew to the Left Side

Sew as shown for center

Cut 4 Blue – 1 ½” x 1 ½”

Star Quilt Pattern for You to Make

This is one of those quilt blocks that just says...Wonderful. it's all triangles
And can be done with scraps or as shown, colors placed. The finished quilt block is eight inches by eight inches. I machine pieced and do the quilt pattern in units and rows as shown below.
