This is one of the first paper pieced quilts I ever did. It

measures 16" x 16" and was machine pieced and hand quilted.

Each book measures 3" x 3" and my design from a traditional pattern.

This is a Baby Quilt

Measures 36" x 36"

It is machine pieced and hand quilted by me.

I quilted with white thread and tried to use a very small stitch.

Remember, to wash all your fabrics before using,
 I wash and iron all fabrics as I purchase them.

Little Quilt in Red, White and Blue

Red,White and Blue Star LITTLE Quilt

This is an 18" x 18" quilt using traditional Red, White and Blue.

It's machine pieced and hand quilted. I use only 100% cotton.

The Quilt back. The stitches are very small and add a texture to the quilt.

 

I do 8 to10 photo's of things that are set ups. A stand, quilt, milk glass, flowers.

Moving it to the kitchen table. Sitting in a red bowl. And again I took 6-8 pictures.

I like this, I pulled out a red, white and blue quilt. added it to the table and it works.

But for, "How long?"

Until everyone arrives on  Sunday.

 This is how my table will look.  Pretty, simple and quilt free,

the Grands are coming !  And this Grandma is worrying about nothing, just playing

Little Quilt Block of the Month from Guild Newsletter

 I love Holiday's and this quilt has a block for each month.
These were done for a quilt guild and added to the newsletter each month.

With everything happening the past years I've moved away from the local guild. There are seasons for everything and right now, I have so much on my plate, I don't have much more to give. I miss it. Maybe, some day soon.

Little Pink Quilt in Log Cabin Pattern

Little Pink Quilt, machine pieced and hand quilted.

The quilt finished to a size of 7" x 7".

Using cotton batting and all hand quilted.

The white thread pops on the green fabric.

The quilt back. I think sometimes the backs are beautiful without the fronts.

Little Blue and Yellow Nine-Patch Quilt

When the box was out a few weeks ago, I noticed these great colors. So yesterday I spent sometime sewing.

Basic 9 patches, set on ends. I did it in strip piecing, cutting them 3/4" wide.

The finished quilt is 4 1/2" x 4 1/2".

I have been doing a lot of little things, I have a huge project to start, I think I'm procrastinating a bit??

Red Table Topper Using Quilt Squares

I'm finished up my projects, this is a table topper, all hand quilted.

I was asked yesterday, via e-mail, "How do you get some much done?"

I'm a list maker, always have been.

And I a lot time to everything. I learned this from a book??? I know, me and the books.

It's by Chet Holmes, "The Ultimate Sales Machine" not a title you'd think a quilter would go for, but very good with my time management, I needed it. I'd spend days in my studio and NEVER come out.

So, on my list, finish this one, and I can start a flower quilt for a class and a book.

I'm still working on the "Little Quilt Ladies" Series (C), and they are looking good.

But the next one, the flower one, "OH BABY" I like !
