I was looking for a very old quilt that was in the things from Husband's grandmother.

And I didn't find what I was looking for, I'm sure I will, but did find this.

I did this long ago, I had won the little quilt fabric squares at a quilt guild meeting.

The Quilt Ladies Book Collection is a story that follows five friends through The Quilt Ladies 12 books and ebooks.   Each book continues the story and has the pattern/instructions for the quilt the Ladies are making in that book.

I wrote the stories first, designed the quilts and made them all.

Being self-published and a solo-business has opened up a whole new way for a quilt book to be presented. You purchase the books and have the patterns all at the same time. No waiting for the pattern release, months or years later.

I've been hold this is crazy quilting.

I use this as my trim your sew allowances example, look carefully and you can see them.

And my what hand quilting can do for a quilt !

Living with Quilts Around My House

Recently, reading a blog forum about how pictures make your posts better, they talked about lighting, balance and behind scapes of each picture.

 On an average I shot 6-8 pictures of everything I take pictures of.  I figure if I go to all the work to get it out,  I'm going to over do it.

What if I didn't ???

We live with my quilts, we use them, wash them and love them.

So, a few nights ago I walked around the house.

How many quilts to you sleep UNDER at night?  
Us, three Beth quilts and one down !

Computer quilt, for wrapping up in as I blog.

And my sewing room wall, as I see it daily.   You will also notice there are no Quilt Ladies Book Quilts out, they are put away and used for shows only !
