Adding MY Painted Flowers to Doorway Glass

I have redone the glass at our front door. A few of the neighbors have put the reflection paper in...

but I couldn't just do that !

Here's what I've been working on, making home mine.

Off to Lowes (not a paid mention) measurements in hand. Wanted it to be easy to bend in. I needed nine inches, but this was cut eight inches and they cut my 80 inches. Board is just under 1/4" thick.

This is why the board had to bend, I didn't want nails, used the plastic nooks so it can be taken up or down as I like. Would like to do more for seasons.

FROM the Outside, How loud do you think the condo association will YELL ?  I NEVER mention what I do to them. Just let them notice on their own.

p.s. Would LOVE to paint this side too, but I'm going to wait and see, maybe picking my battles a bit?

Painting our Lanai Wall

I've been having a ball with my new painting project.

With my plan, it didn't take long to mark it out the flowers on the wall. I did the painting over the stucco as it was.  Knowing what I know how, I would have the guy come and smooth it all out. Next time.

I tried to do the lines soft, but they had to be heavy to see.
(Disclaimer: Husband wants me to tell you all,
this is a huge project and
there is a bit of art to doing this, it may not be for all to try)

It's paint, try it !

First flower outlined, my first time off the ladder, I could not stop smiling, a bit of happy dancing too.

Husband's not been very excited about this project.  Like the flower pots at the front door I say, "tell them (assoc) to talk to me," no one has, I think they are scared of me...And, I like that.

Yes, I used a one inch paint brush

I was worried the paint (quart) would not be enough,

more than enough paint.
About 2 days of drying.

Then building the shadows on each flower.

I'll keep painting !

Painting a headboard, Black to Gray

I'm painting our headboard, it has to be the heaviest thing we have ever purchased. It's a very soft gray, in the pictures it looks white.

From the Curb Find, to my Dining Room

Driving home a few weeks ago and being garbage day, look what I found on the curb! I've been looking for a table for under our breakfast bar to use as a serving table. I knew the moment I saw it, it would work.

repairing table from a curb find for my dining room

There was/is a huge mark, I think something hot was set on it and a paint spots.

With a bit of finger nail polish remover,
the paint came off.

But, I didn't want to refinished it completely, it had a fold out top table.

So, I decided to pop off the hinges and just turn the table top over
the inside was perfect, not a mark !

Then LOTS of cleaning and re-nailing the metal feet on.

IT'S a WOW

A real WOW

From Curb to My Dining Room

I've had the metal work up for MONTH's and DIDN'T have to move any of it.
PERFECT FIND !
