I love paisley fabric and had to show my vacation quilt.
I used a very different palette of colors and patterns, it's just fun.
It's a very simple pattern, a 2 inch center square and them just log cabin around the outside with 1 inch strips.
The finished size is a square 50" x 50" a good size for curling up on the couch. I used a 100% cotton batting and hand quilted.

Wow...that is GORGEOUS! Paisley is my absolute favorite 'design' in life. LOVE IT! And you couldn't have chosen better than to pair it with plaid - that looks so great! My mom just took up quilting, but she's a great seamstress. I'd like to try it someday, too, but I don't have the highest hopes - haha :)
