I'm in the sewing room and working with the paisley fabric. Fabric picks
I've always thought about doing a contest piece and I think this will be a try ?
I use the "How to method" - HERE

There will be a traditional pattern, but the rest, it's going to be me, not for a book, not for sell, not for anyone BUT me !
Please notice, that NONE of these patterns, colors are textbook, but they work. ! !
It will be machine pieced, hand appliqued and hand quilted. It will not be done tomorrow and that's alright, I need to start taking me time.... again!

I love the colors and you have done a great deal already. I am still cutting scraps, and I am almost
ReplyDeletefinished with one bin. I had to unload the dishwasher (I have to do some housework, my excuse was it is the weekend). My DH usually does this chore but he isn't feeling well.
This will be a fun project to watch you do. =)
ReplyDeleteWe all need a project just for ourselves.
Good morning Quilt Ladies!!!
ReplyDeleteYou recently became friends with Kandi Corp. on facebook. I thought you might be interested in following us as well at decolourant.blogspot.com
deColourant is a new and exciting product of ours that we make right here in Safety Harbor FL. The regular deColourant removes the dye from natural dyed fabrics and the color deColourant then additionally replaces the fabric with the color of your choice. It is very easy to use and can be used in a combination of ways such as free hand, stencils, stamps, etc. It is unlike a paint or dye and it doesn't change the hand of the fabric. Also, you may be worried about a strong smell, but no worries, it gives off a slight citrus smell. Quilters are loving this product! Check out www.harbor-sales.com for full product information or call us at 800.985.2634, you can also order it online at www.i-kandi.com
Have a great day ladies!!!
This is going to be a beautiful quilt. I love paisleys and have been pulling them from my stash. I look forward to seeing how this one progresses.
