My first ever blog post was today 9-22-2008, I've come along way, this my first post

WOW, I'm starting the road to get the quilt ladies published. Today the project was this blog. I've been asked by friends to get this started and it (the blog) was very easy to get going.

The books are at the book designer and I hope to get them back in the next month and ready for sell, ASAP after that. The next big project will be the web store page.

The decision to do the book myself has been a hard one, but I have to take the leap and just jump. After selling at craft shows and doing pretty good, I hope everyone loves them as much as I do. I have jpgs, of the covers and I'll try to get them on soon??? I've been told I can do it??

I need a bit of help with any idea about getting the word out about what will soon be:

Missouri Star Quilt Company Visited

We traveled in April to see kids and I love this part of our trips, I get to meet my sister in Hamilton, MO and visit Missouri Star Quilt Company. My Quilt Ladies Quilt Pattern Shop

It's a Quilter's Fantasy Land. Since last September they have opened 2 more quilt shops. I think a total of 6 now opened and building is going on for a Visitor Center and Husband's Club House.

Making My Pantry Pretty

I'm not a wire shelf kind of girl....

Things just kept falling through the wire???

So, I turned it into a project.

Measured out each shelf, 1" x 2" molding boards

We used pre-painted shelves, 

just cut and put in, no painting.

Thinking SPRING in Florida

Don't want to rub it in.....BUT, It's SPRING here in Florida. 

I still can't get over it...it's snowing and cold other places and I'm wearing shorts, flip flops and swimming.....NUTS. I went to the garden center yesterday for potting soil and there were FLOWERS every where ! ! !  It's March and they have bedding plants out ! Love it !

 OF course, I brought some home !

Spent the day in Arcadia, Florida a little town with LOTS of Antique Shops !And I found Quilts. 

Always ASK, before taking photo's in anyone's shop.Not one No !

All hand done - this would have been purchased, but they didn't take ANY charge or debit cards. and I NEVER have cash !

Always check the condition, open it up, touch and look !

These are water marks ??? I don't know if I could get these out?

Simple 9 patch set on point, with a GREAT blue border.
