Piecing a New Star Quilt

Picturing Quilts Before Shipping
Our Son's and Daughter-n-Law's received quilt gifts this year.
They were in NEED, I worked for months on them and had shown just bits and pieces as I made them.
But, they have been opened and now it's my turn to share them. I take LOTS of pictures before a quilt leaves the house, I'm always in need to quilt pictures.
All are machine pieced and hand tied, with 2 layers of quilt batting in each and full size.
Two yellow to the other.
We took the pictures on Dec 2nd here in Florida and as you can see, it was HOT out !

Custom Quilt - Ready Set Sew
Fabric all picked out and pattern is done. It's time for some cutting and sewing. Pieced and appliqué, flowers and vines. Will be stretched on frame after quilting. Different for me, new and very excited.

Last Step of Nine Patch Quilted Table Topper Tutorial by The Quilt Ladies
Part Four of 9-Patch Table Topper Pattern
Fifteen inches by fifteen inches
15" x 15"
Sew your rows diagonally across
Start at the corner
These are cut larger than neededCenter your point of the triangle at the center for the 9-patch block
Sew with 1/4" seam allowance the press to the outside,
Cut NOTHING. not seam allowance, not points.
Add the side triangles, even with the edge, let any extra go to the point end.
Sew with 1/4" seam allowance, again,
Cut Nothing, not seam allowance, not points, Press to the outside.

Add opposite side triangle as before.
Do not TRIM
Keep adding Rows, using 1/4" seam allowance
press as out go
I like to sew each row together and then add that row to first one,
Just the way I do it.

Nine Patch Quilt Pattern Tutorial - Part Four
Part Four
9-Patch Table Topper Pattern
Sew your rows diagonally across
Start at the corner

Sew 2 of them to the sides
Cut 4 - 2 1/2" x 2 1/2" squares in background color
Take other 2 and add 2 1/2" squares to each corner, sew to the top and bottom.
Cut binding - 2 1/2" x 65"
