The Quilt Ladies Book Collection

Had a VERY sweet email:
"I'm all confused? Quilt Ladies books,  Little Quilt Ladies? Help ME "
Here I go !
"The Quilt Ladies Book Collection" is the stories of Mary Alice, Emily, Helen, Teresa and Jenny. Each book has a story and the quilt pattern they (the Ladies) are making in that book.  The story continues book to book, but each title tells what the books about.

"Little Quilt Ladies" are patterns, no stories. Just Quilt or Applique Patterns.

NOW, I think this may help!

Painted Chest

This is a chest that my Dad's Mother used, my mom's had it for years and give it to me.

painted cedar chest
It was completely black and I've added the white
I sanded the top a bit and used white oil paint, I like the finish of oil paint.
cedar chest painted in master bedroom

Painted the top, handles and the legs.
Learned that painting in Florida with all the humidity drying time is quite a bit longer making this a no hurry project.
