Quilt from The Magazine Antiques

I'm getting through a pile of reading and found
this wonderful article in

The Magazine Antiques - their site HERE
July/August 2013

Article By Jean M.Burks
Shelburne Memorial Building New York

This quilt is one from the collection made by Florence Peto 1881-1970
Named “Calico Garden”  the quilt was purchased for the museum in 1952 and in 1999 was named one of
“The twentieth century’s Best American Quilts”

If you break down this quilt, it's 9-patch squares set on point, off square are simple applique flowers, border's are squares set on point with corner applique.

Break a quilt down and see all the workings of it.
